🔒 TL;DR — Progressive Pomo works 100% offline. We do not collect, store, or transmit your personal data from the app. Your focus data stays on your device.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Raji's Lab ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Progressive Pomo mobile application ("App") and the website at progressivepomo.com ("Website"). We are committed to protecting your privacy.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect (App)

Progressive Pomo is designed to be privacy-first. The core App:

  • Does not require an account — no email, name, or personal information needed
  • Does not track your location
  • Does not access your contacts, camera, or microphone
  • Does not contain advertising SDKs — no ads, no ad tracking
  • Does not share data with third parties
  • Works 100% offline — no internet connection required for core features

All your focus sessions, projects, rituals, analytics, and achievements data is stored locally on your device only. We cannot access it.

3. Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following data is stored only on your device and never transmitted:

  • Focus session history and durations
  • Project names, todos, and progress
  • Ritual configurations and completion history
  • Focus ratings and analytics data
  • Achievement progress
  • App settings and theme preferences

4. Optional Cloud Features (Pro & Pro+ Only)

If you subscribe to Pro or Pro+ and opt in to cloud features (when available):

  • Google Drive Backup: Your focus data may be backed up to your own Google Drive account. We do not have access to your Google Drive. The backup is encrypted and stored in your personal cloud storage.
  • B.R.I.O. AI (Coming Soon): When available, the B.R.I.O. AI assistant will analyze your focus patterns to provide insights. This will require an internet connection and data will be processed securely. Detailed privacy terms will be provided before this feature launches.
  • Multi-Device Sync (Coming Soon): When available, sync requires a Google account for authentication. Only focus data necessary for sync is transmitted, encrypted in transit.

5. Subscription & Payment Information

All payments are processed through Google Play. We do not collect, process, or store any payment information (credit card numbers, billing addresses, etc.). Google Play handles all billing. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for payment data handling.

6. Website Data (progressivepomo.com)

Our website uses:

  • Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics 4 to understand website traffic (page views, referral sources, device types). This data is anonymized and aggregated. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
  • Contact Form: If you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email, subject, and message. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is stored securely. We do not sell or share this data.

7. Children's Privacy

Progressive Pomo does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since the app works offline and collects no data, it is safe for users of all ages. The website contact form is not intended for children under 13.

8. Data Security

We take data security seriously:

  • App data is stored locally using Android's secure storage
  • Our website uses HTTPS encryption
  • Contact form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections
  • Server infrastructure follows security best practices

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Delete your data: Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data. Clear app data from Android settings to reset without uninstalling.
  • Request contact data deletion: Email us to have your contact form submissions deleted.
  • Opt out of analytics: Use browser ad-blockers or disable JavaScript to prevent Google Analytics tracking on our website.

10. Third-Party Services

  • Google Play Billing: For subscription management — Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Analytics: Website analytics only — Google Privacy Policy
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging: For optional push notifications (website contact form alerts to our admin app only)

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as new features launch (e.g., B.R.I.O. AI, cloud sync). We will notify users of material changes through the app or website. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
